Burley Voices community choir is all about getting together to sing and enjoy ourselves. The choir is relaxed and informal – everyone is welcome. You don’t need to read music to participate, and nobody needs to do a scary audition to be allowed to join.
Meeting weekly in Burley in the New Forest, the choir is run by Jay Parrack, a professional singing teacher who runs community choirs in Surrey, Hampshire and Dorset. Jay is a firm believer in the fact that everyone can have fun singing, which is why she runs non-audition community choirs that anyone can be a part of.
Jay brings her experience in vocal tuition to her choirs, as well as creating a comfortable, encouraging environment in which people can have fun exploring and developing their voices.
